Pastor Durairaj was called by God to Chennai in 1988 for God’s ministry. He and his wife entered Chennai with prayer on his knees. Chennai did not welcome him. None of the known persons in Chennai. No place to stay. Some days on the roads and in places like the railway station, they stayed and walked as far as they could for God’s ministry.

After a few months, they found a small house to stay in. That house has no electricity and no toilet facilities. For many years they had sleepless nights fasted and prayed. The church, which started in 1993 with a few souls at home, has gradually grown into an established church. Many demon-possessed, sick people came and were released and accepted Jesus.

The Lord brought hundreds of souls into the church. The church was still going on in the rented house. When the pastor prayed for a place for the church, in 2003 God gave a place for the church to be built in the Palavanthangal area. Church services took place in the basement for a few years. The upper floor was completed in 2010 and is being used throughout the ministry.
